The title track of much hyped 'Dum Maaro Dum' will be launched during the India-South Africa match in Nagpur on Saturday. Though the director had planned a live performance of Deepika Padukone, it didn't materialize, Deepika Padukone, who features in the song, will not perform at the event.
The film's director Rohan Sippy had asked Deepika to do a live performance in front of a 45,000 crowd, who are expected to attend the match at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium. But the 25-year-old diva has refused to perform since she is busy with the shooting of Prakash Jha's Aarakshan.
"Deepika Padukone is shooting for 'Aarakshan' in Bhopal and doesn't have time to rehearse as she would land on the same day in Nagpur. She expressed her regret as it would be very difficult for her to perform without any rehearsals," said Rohan Sippy.
The Dum Maaro Dum team will launch the song at the end of the first innings. Deepika's item number in the film is e…
Tere Naam gal Bhumika Chawla is extremely upset. Ditto for her husband, the power yoga instructor Bharat Thakur.
Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Bhumika thundered, “It started from an event where I was spotted without Bharat. I have been traveling between Mumbai, Dubai and Hyderabad and wherever I go, does it mean that Bharat has to travel with me all the time? First, it was said that he’s sleeping with a socialite, then it was said that he has taken my money. And now the latest rumour is that I am a victim of domestic violence. I have just come back from Dubai and we had a whale of time. Right now, I am in Mumbai, in Juhu with my mother. She has had an angioplasty. My family met with a massive car accident last year. Is coming back to see your parents filing for a divorce?”
Adds Bhumika, “It was also said that I have filed a police complaint in Bihar. Which police station did I file the complaint in?”
Bhumika and Bharat are considered as disparate as the proverbial chalk and cheese; hubby dea…
It has been quite a while since Devisri Prasad has been heard in the Telugu circuit. Well, this talented music maker has been quite busy in the Kollywood circuit and has scored some fine tunes. While that is the film front, it appears that he has been scoring some fine tunes with the females in the Kollywood arena.
Recently, Devisri was present for a special event in Tamil Nadu. This was the special event wherein cine musicians had a get together after spending 40 years in the film industry. Our sources from Chennai reveal that Devisri was spotted with the hot heroine Andrea and he shook a leg with her on the stage.

Sizzling Beauty Katrina Kaif and Bollywood Badman Gulshan Grover's hot liplock in “Boom” (2003) is back in news. DVD of the film will be shown now Kissing scene.
The actress had managed to get the smooch scene deleted from the first DVD by putting pressure through Salman Khan, who she was dating then. As Katrina is out of Salman's life, the kiss is making a comeback.
"It is clear that the makers of Boom want to cash in on Katrina's success. Katrina Kaif is a top actress now and naturally there will be curiosity about a steamy scene she did, when she was a newcomer. It's just another way to make a quick buck at her expense," said a source.
Gulshan Grover also pointed out that the controversial scene in the DVD will be the first DVD.
Despite that advancing age, yesteryear beauties like Hema Malini and Sridevi maintains the same vigor and charm. Same is the case with senior singers like Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhonsle, who renders the same sweet voice irrespective of their age.
However, the younger generation is surely lacking this kind of strength and here are the two best examples. Faded heroine of the late 90s, Maheswari staggered everyone with her public appearance the other day. Her droopy physic and wrinkled face made her look like a mother of another heroine, though her age is just in mid 30s. Another woman is singer Sunitha, who is shocking everyone with her rustic voice outside. Though it sounds like a koel's voice when she sings in concerts, it's horrible outside to bear her 'sangeetham'. These things can be really described as the 'scariest' acts in the history of Telugu cinema.
Superstar Mahesh Babu redefined the term 'brand ambassador' by signing deals with many major products of India. His brand power is dominating entire South India and his heroine wife Namrata is also among the affected ones. Check it out now!
Reports say that Namrata is extensively using 'Amrutanjan' these days to avoid those 'headaches'. Things bothering her most are a real shock to the common people. Wherever, Mahesh goes to - Namrata follows is a well known thing in the industry and the attention she gets is also a noticeable one. Most of the times, Namratha is ignored due to the magnetism Mahesh Babu has both in looks or talks. Only a girl with a husband handsome than her, knows this pain of Namrata. At this point, there is nothing to do for her rather than applying a chunk of 'Amrutanjan' on her forehead.
Did Lord Shani Dev ward off Yuvraj Singh's bad form, and help him become India's hero on Sunday? Seems like the god of Saturn had a role in Sunday's match. Even the cricketer acknowledged this, during the post-match presentation ceremony, when he received the man-of-the-match award. He thanked God for his performance.
On the eve of the India-Ireland World Cup match, Yuvraj quietly slipped off from his hotel room in the evening to visit a Shaneshwara Temple in Wilson Garden to seek Saturn's blessings. The cricketer, known more for his flamboyance on the field and partying antics, surprised devotees at the temple, as he paid obeisance to Lord Shani.
Clad in a red T-shirt and blue denims, Yuvraj visited the temple with a local friend and spent about 15 minutes there. He performed a few special pujas to ward off evil, said Ramachandra, the temple priest. To appease the lord, he also lit a sesame oil lamp. Lighting a lamp on Saturday to Shani Dev is considered esp…
